I simply love those designs from the 1960s and 1970s. They had this charm that is difficult to put down in words. And you know what… whenever I feel I have reached a designers block, all I have to do is look at some of those designs and… BANG… something makes my heart race and I feel inspired to do some great work.
The term “retro” originated in France in the early 1970s. It was used to describe a nostalgic way of looking back to past fashions and styles. Since then, retro is used for music, furniture, designs and other things belonging to the past. Next time you hear the word “retro,” don’t assume it will be some dull stuff.

Here is a great project that takes popular products and simplify their packaging design. The designers accomplish to reach to me with each of their “simple variation” of the product packaging and even if I didn’t know about the that product it would definitely catch my eye.
