Drinking wine is so much more than drinking wine. It is an occasion. It perfectly augments a mood for celebration. The celebration does not begin when one starts drinking the wine. It begins when one goes to the store to select the perfect wine for the occasion that is being celebrated. So, the design of a wine bottle is part and parcel of the complete event of drinking wine.
In fact, before one even tastes a wine, it is the wine bottle that one is attracted to. One is more inclined to buy wine with a striking bottle design than that with a mediocre bottle design. From the shape of the bottle to the color and from the labeling to the image… everything plays a crucial role in conveying the complete message.

Simplifying Product Packaging Design
Here is a great project that takes popular products and simplify their packaging design. The designers accomplish to reach to me with each of their “simple variation” of the product packaging and even if I didn’t know about the that product it would definitely catch my eye.
