The design of a perfume bottle is very much a part of the total appeal of the product. Image a divine fragrance in a bottle that has a bad design. A perfume bottle is meant for display on one’s dressing table. So, the design better be charming. Moreover, perfumes are popular as gift items. When one purchases perfume to be gifted to a dear one, one would really be compelled to buy something that comes in a fascinating bottle.
Most popular perfume brands like Estée Lauder, Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren and Elizabeth Arden spend heavily on the designing of their perfume bottles. Blown glass to make perfume bottles can be quite interesting. One can then have these bottles painted with vibrant colors to look fascinating.

Simplifying Product Packaging Design
Here is a great project that takes popular products and simplify their packaging design. The designers accomplish to reach to me with each of their “simple variation” of the product packaging and even if I didn’t know about the that product it would definitely catch my eye.
